Clinics start at 12:00 pm. Cost is $15 per Clinic. Fee includes refreshments. Clinics may be cancelled in the event of heavy or continuous rain. Call to confirm.
Clinic Outline:
Clinics are held on the Saturday prior to race day (event setup), at the race venue. Clinics begin with a discussion of equipment selection and training techniques, then progress to hands-on practice mounting and dismounting bikes, with & without obstacles.
Attendees are treated to refreshments (typically bagels, hummus, trail mix, & some junk food to provide a healthy balance) between the discussion period and practice.
At the end of practice, instructors take students on a trial run of the race course for useful tips and race analysis.
Total time is approximately 3 hours
The clinic is interactive and attendees are encouraged to ask questions throughout.
